Carrying on from the successes of 2014

2015 looks like it will carry on from the successes of 2014. Newmont Engineering currently has a healthy order book, and is investing in new plant and staff to meet these demands. Despite being busy, we currently have capacity available on the sliding head lathes. If you have any enquiries for this type of work, please get in touch.

Newmont Engineering have commissioned a brand new  Okuma Genos 460, 4 axis milling machine. This provides the milling section with a high quality machine, and additional capacity in a very busy section.

Newmont presently await delivery of a CNC Gear hobbing machine, the power of the CNC control system will enable us to replace a number of older machines, and provide us with further capacity.

Newmont are not only investing in plant, but people as well. We are pleased that our two apprentices, Daniella and Ronesh have now completed all there formal training qualification...
